A MAP of the MANNOR of ELMTON and CRESWELL in the County of DARBY: Survey'd for Sr. John Rodes of Barlborough, Bartt by Joseph Dickinson. Anno Dom 1722. Surveyor: Joseph Dickinson. Scale: of 20 Gunters chains Four in an inch [1:3200] with dividers. Size: 126 x 148 cm. Materials: coloured ink on parchment. Centred on: SK505736 Notes: 16 point compass rose, north at top. Estate map showing remnants of open field system, closes, field names, reference number and letter, or 'Freehold', single line and hedge boundaries, commons, village houses in distinctive perspective, Elmton church: lanes in colour with double lines, paths, woods and streams: Reference Table of 30 Elmton and 11 Creswell tenants and 7 freeholders in Creswell: extensive unsophisticated coloured floral decorations at cartouche and side: coat-of-arms.
