(1) printed act for dividing, allotting and enclosing the commons or waste lands in the hamlet of Whitle, which received the royal assent 22 Mar 1826
(2) manuscript orders and proceedings of John Taylor of Barmoor, commissioner under the enclosure act Taylor's proceedings include appointment of Roger Rowson Lingard of Heaton Norris, co Lancaster, gent, as clerk; appointment of John Taylor the younger of Barmoor, surveyor, as surveyor under the Act; appointment of Ralph Bown and Richard Bennett of New Mills, gents, as surveyors of the public roads to be made; lists of claims exhibited; notices of appointment of public and private roads with detail; detail of land sold to defray expenses with purchasers' names and prices; accounts.
