Description
Most items in this box concern the sale of the Willersley Castle Estate by Richard Alleyne Arkwright following the death in 1923 of his father Frederick Charles Arkwright. Before the sale the Willersley Castle Estate incurred a tithe rent charge not apportioned between individual properties: this box contains documents relating to the subsequent apportionment of tithe rent charges
