Title
Volume of copy deeds relating to Independent and Congregational chapels in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire (17th -19th centuries). It includes enquiries relating to trust deeds and endowments generally stuck into the book but one was found loose and numbered. D2608/10/25/1; The volumes seems to have been begun by James Gawthorn, a pastor of Brookside (later Victoria Street) Chapel about 1811, and continued by others. The latest deed copied into the volume is dated 1871.
