TitleSheet or membrane, the original stamped ‘Thomlinson Newcastle Library.’ The copy is endorsed ‘Wm Lyndewood’s Provinciale, seu constitutions angliae 1506.’ Contains book-hand Latin writing, with arms and supporters [not identified]. In a cursive hand is written ’from the gift of Walter George’ and in a different hand, chaplain and rector of the parish of Longforth.’ [Longford, Derbyshire] In the first cursive hand is a list of names and sums of money head ‘Holynton tythe heye’.
