Title
Personal letter from Sir William Gell to Philip Gell. From Naples. Sir Charles Monck and Lord Wallace return to England to take their parts in `the sort of revolution'. Sir Charles has the book of Gell pedigrees; Gell has had volume `prettily bound'. Instructions on how to make a terrace; friends are paying for his house repairs. Dodwell's speech is indecent after his stroke; spends his life in hunting after the walls of ancient Pelasgic cities in the mountains and has made some very curious discoveries. Gell was going to make the map of Palestine when the Battle of Navarino took place and ruined him. `As one does not want every letter to be published, [signed] Savory Poytherus & Co.'
