Mild climate of Southern Italy as compared to London. Endorsed: William Gell, Naples, 31 Oct 1823, remedies for gout from Dr Necker; would accept shotgun for payment. Gell to go to Villa Belvedere to dine with Lord Blessington. Has had letter from Mrs Gell at Lausanne on trip to see her sister [Mme Polier] and shall be back in Derbyshire directly
