Probate of John Feyrne of Wirksworth: to the poor box at Wirksworth, 10s - to Agnes his wife, his house and garden at Wirksworth with all his boles, bolesteads, smeltings and groves and all other his lands, for her life (except 2 acres in Gilkill Close which is devised to John Wigley of Wirksworth, his godson, with the house wherein John dwells) - to his wife also, all his land at Kirk Ireton and Dawyate, in or adjoining to Ashleyhay or "Yddersey", with all his lands etc at Wirksworth and a close near to the late Friars House at Derby, in fee simple properties at Middleton by Wirksworth, Derby and Ashleyhay also devised, various bequests made to servants and others.
