Settlement to payment for coal under land at Kilburn reciting agreement by Martha Rice of Kilburn widow, and Gervas Rice, to sell to John Ray all the coals under closes in Kilburn called the Room Close and the Meadow by Bottle Brook, North Field, Middle Field, Far Field and Oakley Pingle 18a 2r for £45 per acre;
£300 to be paid before 25 April 1830;
remainder of purchase money to be paid on 25 April 1836, the day on which the younger child of the late Richard Rice attains the age of twenty-one: £572 agreed as a settlement figure, 1 April
