Administrative HistoryHarriet Hester Pringle was one of the three coheirs of Edward Gibbon of Marylebone, London and Lausanne, Switzerland who was sole surviving trustee of the will of Godfrey Bagnal Clarke, esquire, late of Sutton, Scarsdale co Derbys. Lord Eliot and William Eliot are the two other coheirs of Edward Gibbon. Clement Kynnesley is the devisee for life of the property willed by Godfrey Bagnall Clarke. Elers and Griffith became trustees of the property in Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire and Middlesex on behalf of Clement Kynnersley and his heirs.
