Description
By Thomas Davenport, cabinet maker of Ashby de la Zouch, by the direction of Edward Mamatt, gentleman, of Ashby de la Zouch and William Hall, gentleman, late of Isley Hall, Leicestershire, but now of Ashby de la Zouch and with the agreement of the surviving Trustees and Feoffees of the charity estates belonging to Ashby de la Zouch Free Grammar School; to Sir Charles Abney Hastings, baronet of Willesley Hall of the stables, coach house and premises in Back Lane, Ashby de la Zouch. Recites lease by the Trustees to Thomas Davenport ( 20 Sep 1848); agreement between Thomas Davenport and John Mammatt for letting of the stables (11 Mar 1848) and assignment of the lease for the unexpired term of 60 years of the Manor House and other property demised by John Mammat and assigned by his executors Edward Mammat and William Hall to Sir Charles Abney Hastings. Thomas Davenport is to pay the annual rent of £27, 10 shillings. Dated 22 Sep 1852
