Description
Release by Charles Frederick Abney Hastings, esquire of Willesley Hall and Lady Edith Maud Abney Hastings, with Hastings Reginald Yelverton, rear admiral of Kensington, Middlesex, John Talbot Clifton, esquire of Lytham Hall, Lancasthire, and Thomas Henry Clifton, Lieutenant Colonel in the army, of South Audley Street, Middlesex, trustees of their marriage settlement; of Richard, Earl Howe, executor with the late John Balguy of the estate of Sir Charles Abney Hastings of any actions arising from the administration of that estate. Recites the will of Sir Charles Abney Hastings (23 Mar 1854) and the adoption by Charles Frederick Clifton and Lady Edith Maud Clifton of the surname of Abney Hastings by Act of Parliament, and their marriage settlement (29 Apr 1853). Dated 15 June 1865.
Also includes (D2496/F/7/1-19) bunlde of legacy receipts, including Ilnad Revenue forms, lsits of the debts of the late Sir Charles Abney Hastings 1858 and Residuary Account - Inland Revenue 1860
