Description
The accounts include lists of recipients of bread money, 1842 and 1851 - 1861. At the front of the book are a memorandum of the purchase of black cloth on the death of Sir George Crewe, 1844, a memorandum of a vestry resolution for abolition of salaries and payments for journeys in any of the parish offices, 1844, and a list of widows receiving rent from the “Bastard” [Bastead] Orchard, 1842 – 1854 (Anne Johnson’s Charity).
