Title
Settlement on marriage intended between Anthony FitzHerbert of Tissington gent. and Martha Nicholls daughter of Mary Nicholls of Shrewsbury widow in consideration of a portion of £1000, whereby Anthony FitzHerbert, Edward Pegge of Shirley and John Moore of Brailsford yeomen convey to Philip Pargiter of Lichfield esq. and John Congreve of Haywood Park (co. Stafford) gent. a messuage and lands in Rodsley to hold in trust for Anthony and Martha and the heirs male of their bodies, which lands were demised by Nathaniel FitzHerbert on 29 December 1660 to Pegge and Moore for a term of 1000 years from the death of Nathaniel, to hold in trust for the heirs of Nathaniel. Recital of death of Nathaniel and his eldest son John, and of release and quitclaim by Francis FitzHerbert to Anthony of all his right, title etc. (17 April 1668); Anthony agrees to pay an annuity of £10 to Mary widow of Nathaniel in respect of dower. Dated 8 August
Settlement as above whereby Anthony FitzHerbert releases to Pargiter a messuage and lands in Tissington to make him a tenant for suffering a common recovery by Congreve to the use of Anthony for life, etc. Even date
