Description
A war is breaking out between himself and Philp's creditors who are about to proceed by bill in Chancery; he has rejected the creditors' contemptuous suggestion that Perrin should meet their demands himself; "don't forget [to] keep me supply'd with salt". Dated 12 or 13 October
William Perrin in Kingston, Jamaica, to his wife Frances at Beckenham (co. Kent): has now received Sharpe's letter (D239/M/E/16405) but the power of attorney enclosed was not properly executed; reports the developments between himself and the creditors.
