TitleCopy letter from John Sharpe to William Perrin, commenting on Perrin's letter (D239/M/E/16411)
Date7 Jul 1753
DescriptionWilliam Perrin to his wife Frances: has included the copy of Sharpe's letter as "you'll observe in the close ... he makes me very great compliments on my arguments, reasonings, and knowledge of the law which I never pretended to myself ... I would have you preserve them as they may be of use to you and my children if I should do otherwise than well"; one or two people are determined to take him to law" by the most iniquitous means that ever was even heard of, so that if I do not live to overcome and clear up matters, you'l be held with my children in worse than scalding water as long as you live"; Theophilact Blechynden is the worst of his enemies, and he has stirred up much prejudice against Perrin.
