Title
Jaques and Fisher to William Philp Perrin: (with duplicate): an opportunity has arisen of purchasing a penn adjoining Blue Mountain; advize against purchasing a jobbing gang of negroes; the best method is to add to the strength of a plantation piecemeal over the years, things go on well at Vere - "the whole of the negroes upon your estate came in a body beseeching and praying for some additional help, which we have promised them as they are really weak-handed".
