TitleMalcom Laing to to William Philp Perrin: Perrin will have heard of the loss of the `Earl of Halifax'; to prevent future problems "you may insure 300 hogsheads of sugar from Blue Mountain this year on any ships loading at Morant Bay or Port Morant, more or less"; Blue Mountain is thriving, its negroes happy and contented; the plantation could produce 400 hogsheads in 1773, but more negroes will be required, as they will at Grange Hill, has not liked to move any negroes from Vere.
