This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
[lands bordering Etwall Brook] n.d.[c1590]. Scale: no scale shown. Size: 30 x 40 cm. Materials:sepia ink on paper. Centred on: SK298264 Notes: no orientation, ENE at top. Shows fields with names and acreage, some strip fields: Hardwick meadows, the orchard of Hardwick and Etwall brook named. Location: DRO, D2375/126/1/4
