Description
Discusses a grant for the 'Basic English Foundation' and its relationship to the Orthological Institute, an inscription for Shakespeare possibly written by T. Heywood, Buxton weather, gossip in London about the prospects of a Third World War given the situation with Russia, using several editions of Salmon's 'Polygraphice' in relation to "blackhead", photograph of the Shakespeare portrait which may be the dramatist-actor, speculation about India becoming a republic and the consequences for world languages, including English, Russian, French and Hindustani and stating that the "Moslems would probably prefer English", and Ogden's 'Liber Amicorum' [Book of Friends]
