DescriptionBy which, in consideration of the marriage between Wolfstan Adderley and Elizabeth Okeover and a marriage portion of £1400, Adderley has enfeoffed to Corbin, Brown and Rowland Okeover, the manor of Weddington with rights, members and appurtenances, capital messuage in the tenure of Wolfstan Adderley, the advowson of Weddington church, a messuage in the occupation of Susanna Morrice widow, a croft adjoining the church yard, and several closes in Weddington known as Sydnall Meadow, Brookhill Close, Lane Hill Fields, Great Lea Field, Little Lea Field, Wood Meadow, Ox Close, Two Middle Grounds, Broad Meadow, Barnet Close (with cottage thereon), Brook Close, Brook Close Meadow, Planske Meadow, Horse Close. Long Close, Cow Pasture, Two Hither Five Pound Closes, Church Field, Church Field Meadows, Meadow called the Hookes, a little parcel of meadow adjoining the Long Close, Broadfield, Broadfield Meadow, Smithies Close, Farther Five Pounds Close, Little Five Pounds Close, Foards Close, and a wood called Weddington Wood: to various uses: Susanna Morrice's house, croft, Sydnall Meadow, Brookhill Close, Lane Hill Fields, Great Lea Field, Little Lea Field, Wood Meadow, Ox Close, Two Middle Grounds, Broad Meadow and Barnet Close to be held to the use of Jane Adderley for life, being premises settled on her for jointure by her late husband: the residue of the premises to be held to the use of Wolfstan Adderley for life then after his death, part of the house (a kitchen, parlour, chambers, the nether end of the best stable), Brook Close, Brook Close Meadow, Planske Meadow, Horse Close, Cow Pasture, Hither Five Pounds Close, Middle Five Pounds Close, Farther Five Pounds Close, Little Five Pounds Close, Church Field, Church Field Meadow, Hook Meadow and Foards Close, to be held to the use of Elizabeth Okeover for her jointure: after the death of Elizabeth to be held to the use of the successive lawful male heirs of Wolfstan and Elizabeth; in default of male issue but if daughter(s) then to the use of the trustees for 99 years to raise various sums for their portions: if one daughter surviving at the time of the death of Wolfstan, then to raise the sum of £1400 for her portion from the rents and profits of the land recited above - if two daughters £1800 to be raised, if three or more £2500 to be equally divided between them to be paid at the age of sixteen or two years after the death of Wolfstan: to be held upon the further trust of raising £20 per annum for maintenance of the eldest daughter until her portion be paid, and £15 per annum for the maintenance of the younger daughters
