Assignment by John Heath of Derby, gent., at the request and appointment of Thomas Gisborne of Derby, esq., Leake Okeover of Okeover, esq., and Mary Lowe of Heanor, spinster, to John Else of Nottingham, gent., (trustee of Mary Lowe) in consideration of £150 paid by Gisborne to Mary Lowe, of the remainder of a 500 year term originally granted in a mortgage of 16 Sep 1693 by Richard Carter alias Williamson to Thomas Rawlinson of Ashbourne, cordwainer, of messuage, farm or tenement in Mapleton and the Old Croft, three lands thereto adjoining, the New Close, the Lawn and piece of land enclosed from the Upper Hill 7acre 3roods 00perches, by estimation: the mortgage subsequently assigned to Edward Beresford of Ashbourne, gent, then to John Heath in trust for Gisborne and property subsequently sold by Gisborne to Okeover. 20 Nov
