Resolutions made by the inhabitants of the hamlet of Newbold and Dunston

Description
That a committee of 11 of the inhabitants be chosen by the ratepayers, with no fewer than 5 to act, to have power to transact and direct parish affairs, to meet at the school house monthly to call general meetings of inhabitants when needful, to be chosen afresh every Easter; that a standing officer be appointed under the direction of the committee to do the duty of overseers, constable, collector, surveyor and churchwarden to report to monthly committee, at salary of £25 pa to be paid monthly out of rates and reasonable expenses; that the inhabitants be appointed to above office in rotation; that Mr Nuttall should look over the hamlet and give opinion about making an equal rate for the poor (but this is crossed through and a note records that a meeting on 3 April 1804 postponed this resolution); names of persons appointed on the committee; that John Hardy junior be appointed standing officer, if he will accept
