Of especial historical interest are documents concerning coal mines in Dronfield, 1756, lead mines and a lead smelting furnace in Bradwell, 1763-1857, a petrification shop in Castleton, 1846, Syddal Cottage, Barlborough, 1754-1768, and inns in Buxton comprising the Eagle & Child and Bull's Head, later Wheatsheaf, 1738-1796. |
