Recites that John and Samuel Richardson, brothers of Smalley endowed a free school there in 1712 with lands in Horsley Woodhouse, Thomas Hawley and Samuel Richardson; with details of acreages, rents, disbursements of rents, name of trustees, notes of agreement with John Ray esq of Heanor to grant him lease of coal under the land belonging to the charity (details), and notes of scheme for the management of the charity 1852
