Transcription and translation by L C Hector correcting earlier transcription of undated [?17th cent] petition to the Bishop of Lichfield and Coventry requesting him to write to the King asking for the arrest of certain parishioners who are "stubborn in their contumacy" having already been excommunicated and the Bakewell church having no further remedy (D2057/A/PW/7/2) with earlier transcription and partial translation (D2057/A/PW/7/3) (D2057/A/PW/7/3 not on microfilm?)
