TitleLease and Release by Edward Large of Derby, gent, to William Osborne, vicar of St Peter's, George Beardsley the elder, Henry Noton, Richard Meynell, Thomas Mee, Edward Marshall, Humphrey Eaton and Janes Stables, all of the parish of St Peter's, gents, of all those two messuages, burgages or tenements called the Crowne Inn, one other messuage, burgage or tenement lying on the west side of a street leading from the gaol bridge, one other messuage, burgage or tenement on the west side of the same street near the pump, and the croft adjoining the same of 3 roods, all those cottages lying in or near St Peter's Churchyard, all opening south westwardly into St Peter's Churchyard, also three bays of building in the parish of St Peter's with a croft belonging in which there is a brick summer-house, all those three cottages lying near the top of St Peter's parish on the west side of the highway that leads to Osmaston, one other messuage near St Peter's Churchyard, two cottages at the south side of Bag Lane, and all those messuges, gardens, etc on the east side of the Morledge, all that messuage butting west on the gaol bridge and adjoining the gaol brook alias Old Brook, all that parcel of grass ground of 1 acre lying in Grasse Little Field, and three roods of grass ground in a close of Midsomer Ground containing 3 roods, 2 other lands in the ploughed Little Field of 1 acre 1 rood, one selion of arable land of 1/2 acre, 4 selions of land and a headland, also in ploughed Little Field of 2 acres, 5 selions of land in ploughed Little Field adjoining the highway between Derby and Chaddesden, close called the Calver Close, being parcel of the Bridge Croft, adjoining a large parcel of ground called the New Pasture, again adjoining highway from Derby to Chaddesden, 4 butts of ground butting on the corner of Calver Close of 1/2 acre, 2 long selions of land in the Park Field, butting south on Kedleston Road of 1 1/2 acres, 4 selions of land of 2 acres in the Park Field, 2 selions of land in the Park Field of 1 1/2 acres, 3 other lands in the same field of 1 acre, 2 other selions in the Park Field butting on Kedleston Road of 1/2 acre, 3 selions of land in the Park Field of 1 acre, 2 selions of 1/2 acre, in the Whitecross Field, 2 selions of 1/2 acre, in the same field, one selion of 1/2 acre in the same field, 2 selions of 1 acre in the same field butting on Markeaton Hedge, one selion in the same field of 1/2 acre, 4 selions in the Stockbrook Field of 2 acres, on the Middle Furlong, 4 selions in the same field of 1 acre, all that parcel of ground of 1 acre near the Nuns Green, in trust to apply the rents and profits according to the decree of Sir James Dyer, 27 Mar [1706].
