Gift by John Warde clerk son and heir of Thomas Warde of Derby dec'd to Richard Warde and William Buckeley, junior, of all that tenement in the village and borough of Derby situated at the north end of a bridge called St Peter's Bridge now in the occupation of Robert Wilson, with a garden, in a street called the Corne Markett, along with part of a tenement near St Peters Well in the tenure or occupation of Richard Whyte, and part of a tenement next to St Peter's churchyard known as the Scolehouse and part of a tenement on le Merlege in the occupation of William Stele, with three cottages and 20 acres of arable land in the fields of Derby and a close of pasture in a lane called Wandell Lane in the occupation of Ralph Haughton. 23 Jan 6 Elizabeth I.
