mentioning the principal foundation deed of the Liversage Charity (2 August 1529) in which he conveyed lands in Derby to Rauffe Ley and other trustees to charitable uses: also several charitable bequests in the will namely: bread and ale to the value of 4s, to the poor of the, parish of St Peter's, 12d, annually to the Vicar of St Peter's and 6s 8d annually to the vicar and churchwardens for carrying out all the tasks specified in the charity foundation deed and in his will. 3 Nov, 21 Henry VIII [1529] with 17th century copy.
