TitleDeed to lead uses of a fine to be levied by Humfrey Pegg the younger of Osmaston, yeoman, to Samuell Pegg of Duffield, lead merchant, and Ralfe Burton the younger, of Biggin, clerk, for the raising of portions for his younger children, the settling of jointure upon Miliscent his wife and barring entails, of a messuage, 20a arable, 20a meadow, 40a pasture, 20a furze and heath and common of pasture at Osmaston, to uses as follows: part of the messuage adjoining the garden, viz the kitchen and chamber above, nether house and chamber above, cellar and chamber above, the little parlour and a moiety of outhouses, yards etc. with Sitch Meadow, Long Willows, Church Slade, part of the Pastures, Margetbaulkne, Common Close, and Stony Mores, to the use of Humfrey and Miliscent for their lives as her jointure with remainder to their children during the lives of Humfrey Pegg the elder and Katharine his wife. Agnes Yard, Six Leyes, Foggy Croft, Stephen Poole Croft, Brunt Borrowes and Long Lands to the use of Humfrey for life with remainder as above, and after the deaths of Humfrey the elder and Katharine, all limitations on the above lands to cease. The Brook Close, that part of the Pastures called the Rough Shut, Over Pastures, Wood Close, Low Close, Plancke Close, Cherrytree Flat, Well Croft als. Over Croft and Gubbing Yard, after the death of Humfrey and Katharine to Samuel Pegg and Ralfe Burton, for the maintenance of the younger children of Humfrey and Miliscent until such time as Humfrey Pegg the youngest shall pay £300 to be divided between the said younger children, and if the said Humfrey die without issue beforehand, then Christopher Pegg, his younger brother to pay the money and have the land,
