The claimant's description of the accident on 16 May 1951 according to the Initial medical report states 'I was crushed (pinned) between a bar and pans which I was crawling over which caused a wrenched Back Muscle and a hernia developed on left side.' An orthopaedic specialist's report is included dated 30 May 1951. The tribunal upheld the decision of 20 per cent disablement for life on 8 August 1951. |
