Appeal against a 40 per cent disablement life assessment included letter from Wain 'I consider that my injury and disablement is in escxwess of the amount you specify i.e. loss of right foot. Having had my leg amputated 7 inches below the knee, I feel that this is a greater disablement.' Wain did not turn up at the hearing and there is a pencil note 'written to Insurance to tell them to withdraw case'. |
