Description of accident: Fall of stone
Further information: The claimant was buried under a fall of stone on 7 November 1948 and fractured the left ulna and injured the left elbow and shoulder. The Medical Board initially assessed 30 per cent disablement for 6 months from 23 February 1949 and it was subsequently assessed at 30 per cent provisionally at following boards. The claimant had 3 further accidents in June and July 1949 and May 1950, all arm and shoulder injuries. An accident chart details information about the accidents. A Medical Appeal tribunal on 3 January 1951 upheld the decision of October 1950.
