Further information: Previous Medical Board Appeal 29 September 1949 gave a 20 per cent loss of faculty for three months, final assessment (upheld at appeal). Neurological assessment included with 2nd Appeal papers. On 19 July 1950, the Summary of the Appeal findings state: 'The Tribunal find that this man's condition is largely hysterical but must be attributable to the accident. In view of the man's condition 18 months from the accident [...] his condition will be permanent especially in view of his age'.
