Further information: Long term knee problems including osteo-arthritis. An accident occurred on 12 August 1953 when he was struck on the head and right index finger by a fall of roof. There are two decisions - one relating to the accident and one for the prescribed disease. The most recent decision is the one that has been input. There is a letter of explanation to the claimant about the procedures and payment.
