Locke's statement states that 'Part of the toe was amputated and I was detained for 2 weeks. I was then transferred to Needlewood Hospital for treatment for "nerves and shock" for one week.' There is marked arthritis of the joint. Appeal decision raised extent of disablement from 5 to 10 per cent. |
