Further information: Godfrey had an accident on 1 October 1948 which caused a hernia. The benefit period ended on 31 March 1949. The Medical Board decided on 22 March 1949 to assess disablement at 3 per cent for life. On appeal, it was decided that the extent of disablement was 20 per cent from 1 April 1949 to 31 December 1950. |
