Further information: Prior to a thoractoomy it was thought that cancer of the lung was present. From Tribunal findings: 'the relevant accident aggravated a pre-existing tuberculous lesion of the right lung' (the Compensation Agent quoted to this effect from Cantor's Traumatic Medicine and Surgery for the Attorney). No unforeseen aggravation proven.
