A later claim was made to sickness benefit for Influenza with an intermediate medical certificate stating 'influenza recovered but knee injury still prevents work'. MOH medical examination 22 July 1957 stated claimant fit for work and the accident no longer casuing any incapacity so injury benefit was disallowed. Claimant did not attend the hearing.
