Further information: Mr Cutts submitted a first certificate as a result of a knee injury sustained at work on 8 November 1955. Injury benefit was paid from 8 November 1955 to 6 December 1955. He revisted his doctor a number of times but was deemed fit for work by an Examining Medical Officer on 31 December 1955. Benefit was deemed not payable from 20 December 1955 to 3 January 1956. There are medical reports which include the statements 'An introspective type who injured his right knee at work on 08/11/1955.' There is no tribunal decision paperwork.
