Insurance officer submitted that this was a constitutional condition (quoting from a medical dictionery) and was unconnected with the abdominal strain. A further GP note stated Dillon was suffering from '?hernia ?Due to strain' and the first hearing was adjourned. Further hospital evidence confirmed a hydrocele.
