Further information: The Proceedings Report states the benefit claimed as 'Industrial Death Benefit.' According to the report, the claimant (deceased) had an injury and gassing in 1941. He suffered from hernias and was incapaitated after 1958 He died of cancer - the tribunal found that this was not connected to the relevant injuries. The accidents and illness are described in some detail in the paperwork. There is Medical Appeal Tribunal paperwork included regarding an industrial accident on 7 July 1958 when the claimant's husband was 57.
