Further information: Local Appeal Tribunal for Injury benefit heard at Chesterfield and the Tribunal's decision was found in favour of Coogan. Tribunal was convinced by records from the Markham Colliery Medical Room that the claimant had been attending regularly for treatment when a small piece of 'wire came out' and thus related second episode of illness to the first.
