According to a doctor's report from April 1950 (a doctor employed at the Miners' Rehabibilitation Centre at Berry Hill in Mansfield), 'This man gives no clear history of an isolated injury, but he has [...] been working at the coal face and placing considerable strain on the low back'. A Medical Board decision from 21 August 1950 is amongst the documents in this file. A hearing of the Local Appeal Tribunal on 19 June 1950 was adjourned, then on 3 July 1950 the tribunal found in favour of Noone. |
