Probate of will (17 Jul 1695) of Samuel Hallowes of Glapwell gent
After his father, the elder Samuel's death, the testator's eldest son Thomas was to have estates at Mugginton and Thornsett and after testator's wife Elizabeth's death, Thomas was to have the Dethick estate. The younger children were to have equal shares of Samuel's personal estate, the Muston estate in Lincolnshire and Leicestershire and the Richmond and Marrick estates in Yorkshire. Thomas was to dock etc the entail of the Muston property in order for the younger children to share it. Wife Elizabeth appointed executrix
