Title
Grant by Richard son of William of Glapwell to the canons of Beauchief of 1 bovate of land in Glapwell which Weremund held and of 1 acre in place of the messuage pertaining of the bovate, pasture for 1 plough-team and 60 ewes with their lambs until the lambs are separated from the ewes at Whitsun and common rights pertaining to 1 free bovate. The canons gave 20s to Richard and shall pay him 3s a year [Early 13th century]
