Title
Indenture between Abbot John and the canons of Darley and Thomas Clerke chaplain of Alfreton by which the canons grant at farm to the same Thomas 1 messuage and 1 bovate with 2 tofts and certain other lands in Glapwell for a term of 41 years, paying annually to the canons 12s and to the sacristan 12d and 2 fat capons. Thomas shall maintain the buildings in good repair with timber assigned at Butterley and shall not sell or lease the messuage or tofts. [date gives year only]
