Title
Copy will (and probate certificate, dated 14 October 1813) of Eneas Evans of the parish of Matlock, innkeeper. To his brother Francis Evans of Lane End in co. Stafford, gent. And Stephen Shore of the City of London he bequeaths all his freehold and copyhold messuages, lands tenements, hereditaments and real estate, and also all his household goods and furniture plate, linen, china beds, bedding, ready money and securities for money and all other personal estate and effects, upon trust to pay the yearly interest and the yearly rents of his real estate to his wife Hester Evans. If his wife remarries, Francis Evans and Stephen Shore are to pay her the yearly sum of £50 out of his real and personal estate, and to pay the remainder towards the maintenance and bringing up of his children Walter Mather Evans and Frances Shore Evans. After the death of his wife all his real and personal estate is to be divided equally between his son Walter Mather Evans and his daughter Frances Shore Evans. He appoints his wife and the said Francis Evans and Stephen Shore as his executrix and executors and the guardians of his children. Dated 17 July.
