Parish of Parwich St Peter
Administrative History
Parwich was formerly a chapelry of Ashbourne. The present church was built in 1873, on the site of the old church. As the letter from Mr. Brownson of Derby (D1856 PW 1/2) and 1912 indicates, more documents were lying around in the old church prior to the rebuilding. Few of these appear to have survived. Parwich now forms a united benefice with Alsop-en- le-Dale.
Custodial History
These records were deposited from November1977 to January 1993. This list was added to the online catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project, with the help of Elissa Rowe.
