Final concord between Thomas Foliambe and Robert Langham plaintiffs and Thomas Stafford knight and Alice his wife, Nicholas Longford knight and Margery his wife deforciants, of £12 worth of rent out of the manor of Penkston and Normanton, one half at Pentecost, the other at Ladyday. The plaintiffs may distrain if the rent is in arrears. Consideration £100. Morrow of Ascension 14 Ric [II] [May] [According to a later 18th cent extract from a deed to lead the uses of this fine, 4/19, the rent was to be used to erect a chantry in the church of Newton Solney for 2 priests to sing perpetually for the souls of Mr. Avery Solney, his son and those who gave the rent.]
